The series kicked off with the July 9th event held at New York Times headquarters. Moderated by New York Times’ Pedro Rafael Rosario, panelists include Stellar Collective founder and CEO Deyvis Rodriguez; S.C.P.F. The second annual Festival Afro-Latino NYC drew crowds to Parkside Avenue in Brooklyn on Saturday. Beginning at noon, the festival showcased the diversity among Afro-Latinos through performances from groups like Omulu Capoeira Brooklyn, music and delicious eats (bacalaítos, a variety of empanadas y más).
